| Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening,
Well, it's been a long 7 weeks at school and now I'm back into the world. This weekend was very nice and relaxing; we did the typical family activities. Friday, we played miniature golf, ate at Platters 'a route 66 type diner', and finished it off with a few games of pool. Saturday, we went to a rock the block party 'bouncy castles everywhere for the kids' and watched a couple movies at the house. Today, (Sunday) we went to the bowling alley for some lunch and a quick game (or shall I say a quick butt kicking Carmon received), then picked up a couple movies from the video store. Tonight, we're going to see Harry Potter 'Half Blood Prince' . Oh, did I say the cost of miniature golf and the games of pool were free?, and the cost of bowling was $4 for the family (including shoes), and tonight's movie is $12 for the entire family? Just when I feel it's time to quit the military, these benefits remind me how good we have it. We plan to go to more local attractions soon, more to come on that when we do. Well, enjoy the bowl season for the college ball fans (especially when LSU whoops up on Miami) and I'll talk to you all soon. Later.......

| This is my 2nd entry, didn't realize how long it's been since my 1st. So, a lot has happen since then. My job went thru an inspection, Justin broke his thumb, and I'm in NCOA which is usually in Residence (TDY away from the family). It's difficult trying to balance the time with the family and NCOA, but it has to be done. So anyway, Okinawa is still a very beautiful place and has so much to offer. There are always something going on during the weekends throughout the island. I would say for only being here for a little over 2 months, that this is the best assignment so far in my career; Carmon agrees. Back about 2 1/2 months ago, we took picture of our family along with Carmon's family. Below is a picture of me and Justin racing to the car. He is getting faster by the day. Hopefully, we can start him with football this year. He'll have to be in Flag football till 08, then he can be in full contact. He's our investment for the NFL in case we don't win the lottery. I'll start my wagers soon.

Tonight, we enjoyed our family dinner at Chili's. It's always packed, but what Chili's is not? I'll start getting more pic's of the Island soon, but for now I have to go. Later, you Chili's eating wanabee's.......

| Xanga This is my 1st entry; Carmon showed me how to establish this site. We're in Okinawa, Japan. We arrived here in August and loving it. Okinawa is a very beautiful island.
The picture below is Shuri Castle. It was built on a plateau about 120 meters above sea level. It is the largest of Okinawa's castles. The castle compound has an elliptical shape and is some 350 meters east-west and 200 meters north-south. When, and by whom, the castle was first built here is still uncertain, but excavation work indicates that a precursor of Shuri Castle was in existence by the second half of the 14th century.

This is one (of many) cliff / dive sites on Okinawa.
